The Senior Advisor provides advice and support, including to the Secretary-General and other members of the International Secretariat, on a range of programmatic and parliamentary diplomacy issues. In particular, the Senior Advisor:
- Serves as Director for the General Committee for Political Affairs and Security, working closely with the OSCE’s Forum for Security and Co-operation, Security Committee of the OSCE Permanent Council, and OSCE Conflict Prevention Center.
- Provides advice and support on Assembly activities and initiatives in Central Asia and supports the work of the OSCE PA Special Representative on Central Asia.
- Serves as a Programme Coordinator for Belarus (Eastern Europe).
- Serves as the Programme Coordinator for youth-related activities in the OSCE PA, supporting the work of the OSCE PA Special Representative on Youth Engagement and OSCE PA Network of Young Parliamentarians.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University, as well as distinction Master degrees in Global Economics from the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Services in Dushanbe and in Public Administration from the University of Exeter, UK.
Before joining the Secretariat, Salokhudinov worked for several years in the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe within the Politico-Military and Human Dimension Departments. His professional experience includes areas of democratization, political dialogue, elections, and security sector reform.
