Richard Hudson (United States) was elected Vice-President of the OSCE PA in 2024 at the Bucharest Annual Session.
Hudson served as Chair of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s Committee on Political Affairs and Security from 2021 to 2024. He also serves as Vice-Chair of the OSCE PA Ad Hoc Committee on Countering Terrorism.
Hudson has served in the United States Congress representing North Carolina’s 8th Congressional District since 2013. He is a member of the Republican Party and has served as Deputy Republican Whip since 2013 and Secretary of the Republican Conference since 2021. He also serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and previously served as Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee’s Subcommittee on Transportation Security. Hudson co-chairs the bipartisan Special Operations Forces Caucus, the International Road Safety Caucus, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus, and the Pediatric Trauma Caucus.
