Almaty will host the Trans Asian Parliamentary Forum "OSCE Eurasian dimension" of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly on May 14-16.
The event will be attended by the Azerbaijani delegation to be headed by Bahar Muradova, vice speaker of Milli Medjlis (parliament), head of the Azerbaijani delegation in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
News service for Milli Medjlis reports that the MM delegation also includes chairmen of the committees of the Azerbaijani parliament Eldar Ibrahimov and Rabiyat Aslanova, as well as deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee Fattah Heydarov.
The forum participants will discuss issues of provision of security in Afghanistan, political development, anti-terror combat, economic relations on the Eurasian space, labor migration, natural resources management, gender problems and religious tolerance.
The visit of the Azerbaijani parliamentarians to Kazakhstan will last until May 16. During the visit to Almaty, Milli Medjlis representatives will take part in the work of a special session of the structure to discuss influence of crisis in Kyrgyzstan on the parliamentary democracy.
