The Media Officer supports the Conferences, Communications and IT departments. In particular, the Media Officer has primary responsibility for:
Conference Management and Liaison:
• In close cooperation with the Head of Conference Services, coordinates and sets up meetings arrangements including the online registration system and its subproducts, the definition and implementation of AV/IT requirements.
• Ensures the proper delivery of meeting arrangements and delegates’ services during the conferences.
• Serves as a liaison with parliamentary delegations before and during Assembly’s meetings and conferences, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Coordinates digital events, leveraging technology to enhance engagement and participation.
Media and Communication:
• Assist in the development and the implementation of a comprehensive media strategy, contribute to media outreach initiatives.
• Manage social media channels, create and post content.
• Maintain and develop the OSCE PA website and mobile application.
• Draft and refine a diverse range of documents, including press releases, news items, publications, factsheets, speeches, and statements.
• Create graphic designs for print and digital mediums such as brochures, posters, banners, website graphics, social media visuals.
IT and Digital Transformation:
• Establish and maintain effective collaborations with internal and external IT experts and service providers.
• Drive the implementation of innovative technologies, spearheading the overall digital transformation of the office.
• Provide essential operational support, generating insightful statistical reports, identifying areas of improvement, risks, and opportunities.
