Costel Neculai Dunava (Romania) was elected Vice-Chair at the 2019 Annual Session in Luxembourg and reelected at the 2021 Remote Session.

A member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies since 2016, he serves as Vice-Chair of the Standing Committee for Legal Matters, Discipline and Immunities and as Secretary of the Standing committee for the Investigations of Abuses, Corrupt Practices and for Petitions. He is Vice-President of the Social Democratic Party Branch of Bacau County. He is a jurist with a degree in legal sciences and is fluent in English and French.

He has served on the Romanian Delegation to the OSCE PA since 2017.
