COPENHAGEN, 14 May 2012 – A delegation of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will visit Moldova from 16 to 18 May 2012. The delegation includes Members of the Parliament from Germany, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

On Thursday, the OSCE PA Parliamentary Teamon Moldova, led by Walburga Habsburg Douglas (Sweden), will meet in Chisinau with the President of the Republic of Moldova Nicolae Timofti, the Prime Minister Vlad Filat, the Chairman of the Moldovan Parliament Marian Lupu and other senior representatives of the Parliament and Government. On the next day in Tiraspol, the delegation will hold meetings with Transdniestrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk and other officials.

The OSCE PA visit is organized with the support of the Parliament of Moldova and the OSCE Mission to Moldova.

Journalists will have the opportunity to address questions to the OSCE PAParliamentary Team following the meetings.
