Дочь экс-премьера Украины Евгения Тимошенко призывает Организацию по безопасности и сотрудничеству в Европе (ОБСЕ) провести расследование фактов злоупотреблений, совершаемых в правовой системе страны.
"ОБСЕ может использовать свои полномочия по проведению расследований, чтобы изучить ситуацию с правами человека в Украине и то, как постоянно происходит злоупотребление правовой системой нашего государства для исполнения желаний Януковича (президента Украины Виктора Януковича - ИФ)", - сказала Е.Тимошенко на заседании Комитета по вопросам демократии, прав человека и гуманитарным вопросам Парламентской Ассамблеи ОБСЕ, сообщается на официальном сайте Ю.Тимошенко.
Она проинформировала участников слушаний о политической ситуации на Украине, преследованиях оппозиции и о состоянии здоровья и условиях содержания Ю.Тимошенко в исправительной колонии, отметив, что в тюрьме нарушаются элементарные права ее матери.
В частности, несмотря на сильную боль, которую она испытывает в спине, ей не предоставляется надлежащая медицинская помощь, ее часами допрашивают, в камере ведется круглосуточное видеонаблюдение.

The daughter of former Prime Minister of Ukraine Eugenia Tymoshenko calls on the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to investigate the facts of abuse of the legal system in Ukraine.
"The OSCE can use its powers of inquiry to investigate the human rights situation in Ukraine and how permanent is the abuse of the legal system of our country to fulfill the desires of Yanukovych (the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych)," said Eugene to the Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, accoring to the official website of Tymoshenko.
The daughter of former prime minister believes that the international community must show its solidarity with those who defend democratic values in Ukraine. "It is not late for my mom, it's too late for Ukraine, but the gloom thickens. Therefore, we urge you to demonstrate the determination and solidarity of Ukraine to advance our common democratic future and freedom in Europe," she said.
She informed the participants of the hearings on the political situation in Ukraine, the opposition and persecution on the health status and conditions of Yulia Tymoshenko in the colony, noting that the prison violated the basic rights of its mother.
In addition, in the context of the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Ukraine, said that opposition leaders should have the right to participate fully in political life and take part in elections.She called upon the OSCE to send observers to the mission of numerous, to monitor the electoral process.
