Webinar: Respecting human rights and maintaining democratic control during states of emergency

More than 50 members of parliament from across the OSCE region participated in the webinar, which featured remarks from Kyriakos Hadjiyianni (MP, Cyprus), Michael Georg Link (MP, Germany), and Kari Henriksen (MP, Norway), the Chair, Vice-Chair and Rapporteur, respectively, of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s human rights committee. Keynote speakers included the Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Ingibjorg Gisladottir, and the President of Freedom House, Michael Abramowitz.
